Recently, we were called to address a severe water damage situation in a home located in Orlando, FL 32812. The damage, initially caused by a leaking ceiling and damaged pipes, affected multiple areas of the house, leading to structural compromise. Here’s how we handled this challenging water restoration project to bring the home back to its original condition.

First, we quickly assessed the extent of the water damage. While water still causing significant deterioration of drywall. The walls were also heavily affected. The flooring in several areas of the house were completely wet, and there were visible signs of water pooling in certain sections of the house such as the kitchen, bed room and more.

We began the process by removing the affected drywall and flooring to prevent further spread of moisture and mold. We used industrial-grade dehumidifiers, like the Syclone XL, and high-velocity air movers to expedite the drying process, which is a standard procedure in situations like that. These powerful machines ensured that all moisture was efficiently extracted from the environment, minimizing the risk of mold growth and further damage.

In areas with sever water damage to the wood, we set up a series of Syclone air movers to circulate dry air through the exposed wooden structures, helping them to dry thoroughly.

After making sure the entire area was dry, started repairing and rebuilding the damaged walls and ceiling. We replaced the insulation, installed new drywall, and sealed everything properly to prevent future leaks.

The flooring was also repaired and brand new tiles were installed.
